Your new Board assumed office in January 2025, and we started off the year with an inspiring talk by Min Shan about growing citrus in the home garden. February's presentation was by Marc and Mariah Smith, co-owners of Anderson's La Costa Nursery. The Smiths' talk inspired us to refresh aging plants and create a beautiful Mediterranean-style garden.​

​

In March, OHCC resident Kathleen Hile gave a hands-on demonstration on how to repot and revive orchids. Also in March, your Garden Club provided an appreciation lunch for the HOA staff. In April, another OHCC resident, Lisa Seamans, taught us about organic gardening in a canvas bag.

 

In May, we will host one of our legendary luncheons along with a fashion show. The annual Home Garden Tour will be held on Saturday, May 17 from 11 am to 2 pm and information will be forthcoming. We look forward to many interesting meetings and activities in the future.

Most of all, we treasure the friendships cultivated through social interaction and Club activities.

​​

The sun is shining bright on the future of the Garden Club. Come share our sunshine and congenial company.
